Application Procedure

Applicants Whose Applications Will Be Accepted:

1. Those who are in their final year of high school or have graduated;
2. Foreign nationals;
3. Those who were Turkish citizens by birth but have obtained permission from the Ministry of Interior to renounce their Turkish citizenship, and their minor children who are registered on their renunciation documents and have obtained a Document for the Exercise of Recognized Rights under the Turkish Citizenship Law;
4. Those who were foreign nationals and later acquired Turkish citizenship / dual nationals in this situation;
5. A. Turkish citizens who continued their secondary education abroad before 01/02/2013, except in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), and completed the last three years of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country (including those who completed their entire secondary education in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country except TRNC); B. Candidates who started their secondary education abroad after 01/02/2013 and completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country except TRNC (including those who completed their entire secondary education in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country except TRNC); C. TRNC nationals who reside in TRNC, completed their secondary education (high school) in TRNC and have GCE AL (The General Certificate of Education - Advanced Level) exam results, and those who enrolled and studied in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 and have or will have GCE AL exam results, will have their applications accepted.

Applicants Whose Applications Will Not Be Accepted:

1. Applications from within the country and abroad must be made online within the dates announced on the website. Applications not made within the application period will not be accepted.
2. Turkish citizens who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkey or TRNC;
3. TRNC nationals (except those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL results, and those who enrolled and studied in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 and have or will have GCE AL exam results);
4. Dual nationals whose first nationality at birth is Turkish as defined in subparagraph 2 of paragraph (a) of article 2 (except those who meet the conditions in subparagraph 4 of paragraph (a));
5. Dual nationals, one of whose nationalities is TRNC (except those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL results, and those who enrolled and studied in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 and have or will have GCE AL exam results);
6. Applications from Turkish nationals or dual nationals whose first nationality at birth is Turkish as defined in subparagraph 2 of paragraph (a) of article 2, who studied at schools within embassies in Turkey or at foreign high schools in Turkey, will not be accepted.
