Announcement on Tuition Fee Discount for International Students

Principles of International Student Tuition Fee Discount

Eligibility Criteria:
  • The discount applies to students enrolled in associate and undergraduate programs in the 2024-2025 academic year under international student admission quotas in full-time (on-campus) education.
  • The discount rate is 25% for both the Fall and Spring semesters.
  • Students must be from the same family and actively continuing their education at a state higher education institution (i.e., they must be enrolled and not on an extended study period).
  • Students must be enrolled in full-time associate or undergraduate programs (students in open and distance education programs are not eligible).
  • The student or their family must have a residence permit (applications from students without a residence permit or those who later acquire Turkish citizenship will not be accepted).
  • Students who receive Türkiye Scholarships or whose tuition fees are covered by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) budget, as well as those graduating from institutions where tuition is funded by YTB, are not eligible.
  • If either parent does not reside with the student (and does not have a registered residential address in Türkiye), the student will not qualify for the discount.
  • If one of the students from the same family is a parent, they will not be eligible for the discount.
Evaluation Process:
  • Applications will be reviewed every Fall semester, and students' enrollment status (active enrollment or leave of absence) will be checked.
  • If there are more than two siblings enrolled in the same academic term, only two students will benefit from the discount.
  • The priority for the discount will be given to:
    1. The younger sibling
    2. The sibling with the highest tuition fee
Required Documents:
  1. Residence Permit (for the student and their family)
  2. Copy of Identity Document (for the student and other higher education-enrolled family members)
  3. Active Student Certificate (updated and obtained through e-Government for all siblings applying)
  4. Higher Education Student Certificate (for other siblings in higher education)
  5. "Residence and Address Document" obtained from e-Government (for students and their parents, who must reside at the same address in Türkiye)
