International Student Coordinatorship

Adıyaman University participated in the “7th Pakistan Turkish Universities Education Fair” organized by Maarif Agency in Pakistan.

Representing the university, a delegation including Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Keleş and International Student Coordinator Dr. Muhammed Karakuş held significant meetings in both cities.

At the education fair held in Islamabad, the first stop of the program, Adıyaman University’s academic structure, research opportunities, and the امکانات it offers to international students were presented comprehensively. During the fair, one-on-one meetings were conducted with prospective students, school administrators, and education stakeholders, providing detailed information about higher education opportunities in Türkiye.

As part of the engagements in Islamabad, a meeting was held with Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, during a visit led by Türkiye’s Ambassador to Islamabad, Associate Professor Dr. İrfan Neziroğlu. The meeting focused on cooperation opportunities in higher education between the two countries, including discussions on joint academic projects, student and academic exchange programs, and the development of institutional collaborations.

Following the official meetings, the delegation attended a program hosted by Ambassador Neziroğlu. In this cordial gathering, evaluations were made on strengthening cooperation in education and advancing existing relations further.

The second stage of the program took place in Lahore. At the fair held in Lahore, the Adıyaman University stand also attracted considerable attention. The university’s educational opportunities, particularly in the fields of health sciences, engineering, and social sciences, were presented to participants, along with information about international student admission processes.
