PRE-REGISTRATION AND ACCEPTANCE LETTER
· Candidates who are placed in any department/program must complete their pre-registration through the system. Students who complete their online pre-registration must finalize their enrollment in person at the Registrar's Office within the announced dates.
· Applications cannot be submitted without payment during the pre-registration period.
· Candidates who complete their pre-registration will be able to download the acceptance letter with their YÖKSİS ID number from the system.
· Candidates who do not complete their pre-registration within the specified period or do so incompletely will not receive an acceptance letter and will be considered to have waived their right to enroll.
· Candidates who do not complete their application, have invalid/canceled applications, or fail to complete the registration procedures for the placed program will not be granted final enrollment.
TUITION FEE
· International applicants must pay the tuition fee determined by the University Administrative Board.
· Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of their payments. Payments made incorrectly, for transactions that do not require a fee, or duplicate payments will not be refunded or transferred.
· Tuition fees will not be refunded to students who voluntarily withdraw their registration. (Please consider this before making the payment.)
· Tuition fees must be paid in Turkish Lira (TRY). Payments in foreign currencies (USD, EUR, etc.) will not be accepted.
FINAL REGISTRATION
· Candidates who receive an acceptance letter must apply in person to the Registrar’s Office within the dates specified in the academic calendar for foreign students.
· Registration cannot be made by mail or through someone else.
· Registration can only be completed by individuals authorized through a power of attorney issued by Turkish Foreign Representations or notaries in Turkey.
· Applicants who submit falsified, fraudulent, incomplete, or incorrect documents during the application, placement, or registration process will have their registrations canceled, even if completed, and legal action will be taken.
· Candidates who fail to register within the specified time will be deemed to have forfeited their right.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FINAL REGISTRATION
1. Original high school diploma or temporary graduation certificate and its Turkish translation approved by a notary or Turkish Foreign Representations (with Apostille).
2. Official high school transcript showing courses taken, grades, and GPA, approved by the school principal, and its Turkish translation approved by a notary or Turkish Foreign Representations.
3. For TRNC nationals who completed secondary education in the TRNC with GCE AL results, or students with GCE AL results from other countries between 2005-2010, the GCE AL result document and its Turkish translation approved by a notary or Turkish Foreign Representations.
4. Printout of exam result listed in Appendix-1 (without verification code, the result will not be valid). (e.g., TR-YÖS, international exams, diploma)
5. Passport pages showing identity and validity information with Turkish translation approved by a notary or Turkish Foreign Representations.
6. If available, copies of internationally recognized language certificates and Turkish proficiency certificates (e.g., TÖMER C1), approved by a notary or Turkish Foreign Representations.
7. Two photographs (4.5 x 6.0 cm, taken within the last six months, clearly identifying the candidate).
8. Bank receipt showing payment of the tuition fee.
9. Dual nationals who acquired Turkish citizenship after birth must submit a certified "Detailed Birth Registry Document."
· Blue Card holders must provide a copy of their Blue Card.
· Students admitted with an international temporary protection card must submit a copy of the card.
· The Detailed Birth Registry Document must include a statement confirming dual citizenship as of the final registration date.
· Entry-Exit Certificate: Dual nationals or Turkish citizens who completed their secondary education abroad must submit a certificate from the Turkish Police Department indicating their entry and exit dates during the education period.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR STUDENTS:
· Dual nationality candidates discovered to have submitted applications under both nationalities will have both applications rejected. Even if mistakenly accepted, their registration will be canceled.
· The "Detailed Birth Registry Document" can be obtained through e-Government by searching for "vukuatlı nüfus kayıt örneği," or through local population directorates.
· According to Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 (Articles 18/19/20), for those who later acquired Turkish citizenship, the registry must include a statement such as: "Acquired Turkish Citizenship under Article ... of Law No. 5901. Also holds citizenship of ... . Former name and surname: ..." Without such a note, the registration will not be completed.
